- 2 Day trail -
Upon leaving Oom Japies, the trail meanders down the valley for approximately 1.5 Km, then veers to the left, gradually climbing up the side of the krans for about 200 metres, before opening onto a wide ledge. The ledge is followed for a further few hundred metres, eventually arriving at the "BobbejaanHotel/Baboon Hotel" sign pictured above. The Baboon Hotel is a series of caves scattered above each other up the side of the krans, above this sign.
